Reell Precision Manufacturing Corporation

Larry McMurray and I worked together at Reell Precision Manufacturing.  Larry is a very creative engineering technician who works hard and is always pleasant and jovial to work with.  Larry is very good in R&D development because he uses his mechanical skills and his inventive mind to transform theoretical concepts into working products.

Larry was a valuable coworker at Reell but was caught up in a reduction in force because of the effect the poor economy has had on Reell.

I highly recommend Larry and I believe he will be an asset to his future employer.

VP, Transportation Solutions Business Unit Manager (Reell)

I have had the pleasure of working with Larry McMurray for the past two years on many projects. Larry is an accomplished Engineering Technician and has provided me with great insight and ingenuity into product development.  His hands-on experience and willingness to do the job right and in a timely manner, has contributed greatly to the success of many projects.

Larry is amiable and challenges conventional wisdom.  He thoughtfully and respectfully expresses his opinions, which I greatly admire.  He has often anticipated project needs and taken the initiative to get tasks done.

Larry offers many skills, including:

  • Excellent machining and lathes skills
  • Clever and practical brainstorming and design ideas
  • Experience in product testing and development
  • Experience with test equipment design and maintenance
  • Superb work ethic
  • Applied lessons from running his own business
  • Respect for this fellow coworkers and a positive and friendly attitude

I feel Larry will certainly make a positive contribution to any company and quickly become a valuable asset.  He will be greatly missed here.  If I had the opportunity, I would immediately hire Larry back.

"Certificate of Achievement"

Thank you for your leadership in the development of our strategy and plan for Tool Component Reusability.

You have really stayed the course over the last year leading the Tool Component Reusability team. You and your team completed all your team deliverables, setting the standard for follow-on process development. Our senior manager's expectations were supported through the information in your meeting minutes and through your quarterly project reviews.

Larry, you have done a great job of coordinating with the Tool design community as the subject matter expert on Tool Component Reusability.  This has involved both listening to and addressing concerns and inputs, and helping us all understand "the possibilities of reusability".

You used the knowledge you gained through these activities to provide technical input in the creation of the Tool Component Reusability database, and to document that knowledge in a comprehensive Tool Component Database User Guide.  Both of these will make our implementation of DCAC (Define and Control of Airplane Configuration) far more successful.

Your enthusiasm for improving the way we do business in the Tooling community is greatly appreciated!

Larry, this recognition is to say thank you for your work on the DCAC/MRM Supplier Working Together meeting and Supplier Handbook for Release A1.

You stepped beyond the scope of your task to facilitate the gathering of information required to complete the handbook. Therefore, your efforts have a direct impact on the success of this release and the transition of DCAC/MRM information to our suppliers.

Your efforts have produced a high-quality document that will be distributed to more than 4,000 Boeing suppliers worldwide to introduce the concepts and processes of DCAC/MRM.  The Supplier Focus team wants to thank you for transferring your knowledge of the Release A1 processes.
